Artist's Description
These lilies are some of my favorite flowers to photograph. They come in an incredible variety of colors. The technical name for them is Alstroemeria. They are also called lily of the Incas. The Mamiya 23 medium format swing back camera has the ability to adjust the plane of focus, for maximizing the depth of field. The intent for this series was for surrealism, as these photographs will handle a great deal of enlargement while holding detail.
