Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

These lilies are some of my favorite flowers to photograph. They come in an incredible variety of colors. The technical name for them is Alstroemeria. They are also called lily of the Incas. In this species, the two back petals have vivid colors and markings to attract pollinating insects. This is one of my flower series of images composed on a ground glass screen utilizing a magnifying loupe for precise focus. The project spanned over five years. The Mamiya 23 medium format swing back camera has the ability to adjust the plane of focus, for maximizing the depth of field. The intent for this series was for surrealism, as these photographs will handle a great deal of enlargement while holding detail.

Chris  Kusik

Chris was born in southern Delaware in 1960. As a teenager he began studying maps of Florida and dreamed of exploring the state and it’s natural treasures. In the early 1980’s he moved to Central Florida. During his travels throughout the state he discovered the beauty of it’s swamps, prairies, springs, rivers and lakes. This led to an interest in photography and it’s ability to document his adventures. He also developed an interest in astronomy. He studied the work of Ansel Adams and his “zone” system as well as the works of the his colleges in the “f 64 club” of art photographers. It became apparent that researching the accomplishments of painters would also be beneficial. Chris began to establish his own style, a fusion of art and...
